Periodic inspections of machinery and equipment are carried out by authorised Alfa Test specialists in accordance with the operating procedures of the machinery and equipment, based on their areas of use.

These inspections are carried out based on the directives of the "Machinery Safety Directive", the "Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment" and the "Occupational Health and Safety Law". The periodic inspection criteria and inspection intervals for some workbenches are specified in Table 4.

Table 4: Periodic inspection intervals and criteria for workbenches

If the periodic inspection intervals and criteria are not specified in the tables in this section or are not determined by standards, the periodic inspections of work equipment shall be carried out at the intervals and according to the criteria specified by the manufacturer, if any. If these matters are not specified by the manufacturer, the periodic inspection of the work equipment shall be determined based on the results of a risk assessment, taking into account factors such as the working environment conditions, frequency of use, and duration of use. If the frequency of periodic inspections is not specified in national or international standards, it shall not exceed 1 (one) year.
